Lots of printing firms that have transitioned to being primarily Web-based suppliers for consumers and business to business orders are doing quite well. When you go to the web and point your browser to look for “business check orders”, you will find a great deal of options for <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks printers. Many of them promote their low prices and extensive choices and others advance the high standards and superior service that they deliver.

If you’re looking at cutting your budget for business checking, I recommend getting a reputable online business check printer. If you are placing a lot of business check orders or you use a lot of stationary, get to know your online printing company. They love getting you the deals that will keep you coming back for more.

Evidently the most useful strategy to refill your small business checkbook is to contact the printers online and to get your orders in bulk. Get them to print your logo on your letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and checks to get the best deals possible. If you do that, they might even extend you a courtesy and ship your box at no or low cost. That is a far better deal than having to go back to your bank for those boring old checks. These vendors have a stake in retaining your business because they are charging you slightly more than they charge the banks.

Keep in mind that there isn’t any difference between the checks that you get from your bank and the ones that you get in the mail from your online vendor. The only distinction is the cash you save while you order them from the Internet. The difference is often as high as 50% – 75% when you avoid hidden fees and markups that your bank applies to the order.

Business check orders from web sites with verifiable seals of authenticity are completely safe and sound. Avoid any web site that doesn’t encrypt their shopping cart or sensitive data. They’re going to have a Verify Fee, VeriSign Secured, Better Business Bureau or Trust Wave image on the main page. When you are on the order page, look for “HTTPS” within the URL and a little padlock on the browser’s bar.

The competition among online printers offers consumers a great opportunity to save money and get more stuff. Banks have traditionally gotten these great deals and buried us in fees. Steady progress of electronic transactions has not hurt the printing industry since they moved effortlessly to the Web. Now you no longer have to send your business information to the print suppliers by mail and wait for a response.

Sending in your business check orders to an online printer can save you a bundle if you play your cards right and do your homework. Go ahead and call the vendor while you’re working out the orders if you have any issues or questions that you think might be important. If they’ve got a 24 hour hotline, is it.

If you bought a business for a few years you can appreciate the need to keep your finances organized properly. Many small business owners start out financing their business from their personal account before making the leap to DBA or corporate identity. At that point they’ve established a business account and receive their first batch of checks from the bank. Record-keeping becomes one of the key factors in ensuring the business running smoothly. One key decision that is made is the use of a binder for <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks.

Whether you get the Three-On-A-Page format or the smaller format checkbook, a business binder keeps everything together while protecting your checks from the day-to-day wear and tear of life in the office. If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a couple of coffee cup rings on the top of your leather or vinyl binder for business checks.

I keep a seven- ring binder that holds my Three-On-A-Page format checks. Keep in mind that binder is definitely not for use with personal check formats. The larger format sheets that you get from the printer will take either a three ring binder or are drilled for seven rings. They are extremely sturdy and will hold a few extra items. I keep my carbon less deposit slips in the same binder behind my checks. The binder also contains a pocket that allows me to slip in my receipts so that I can temporarily place them where they can be found later.

These binders come in various colors and styles. You could go all out and get yourself a leather binder for business checks that are embossed with your company logo; I’ve seen those and they are beautiful. I tend to be a little more practical because I keep my check stubs in the binder so as it fills up, I then label the binder full of check stubs and file it away with the others. The binder usually has notes and other pieces of information along with the stubs that will jog my memory if I ever need to review or visit those records.

A binder for business checks is fairly inexpensive so I would rather place an order along with my checks. This allows me to start fresh while keeping everything organized and easy to access. The seven-ring binder is a popular format as it fits the three on a page deposit slips that many small businesses use. They are usually available in charcoal, blue and green vinyl for about $12-$16.00 each.

When I first started using them I felt like they made me think about my finances more professionally than I’m ever done. The act of putting everything together with the checks and statements then filling it in each day kept me focused on cash flow. I also realized that it is advantageous to order everything at once to get the major discounts that are offered through online printers. Whenever I order my checks I refresh my business cards and stationery as well.

I run a business for most of my adult life but always found my attention span to be short when it came to recording financial transactions. Things got a lot better when I switched to a business checking account with <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/m-pr.cfm?merchantID=22559&userID=156774&productID=467807550" title="duplicate business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">duplicate business checks and carbon less receipts. I no longer had to worry about keeping the details of the check in my pocket or in a notepad when things got busy. The information was right there on the copy. The other problem that had to be solved was keeping an accurate record of the checks I deposited. The solution was very similar; I purchased duplicate deposit slips which eliminated the need for me to record information on the check totals and other details while running to the bank.

These deposit slips came in one, two, or three part carbonless styles. I could choose the style that worked best with my hectic schedule. The one-part book deposit slips also have a lot of room; about 27 check entries can be entered. They even have plenty of room on the back for 42 more entries. The problem with this style of course, is having separate copies made; that’s why I like the two-part and three-part carbonless duplicate deposit slips.

These duplicate deposit slips have about 30 lines on the front for entries which is enough for my needs. They come in a stack of 200 and in many cases can have your logo imprinted on them. The sheets are easy to distinguish because the original is printed on white paper while the duplicate is usually yellow. Triplicate’s come with a pink copy as well.

The banks require that there be two lines for interim totals and all duplicate deposit slips and I’ve seen have this feature. My preference is for the Three-On-A-Page style because it fits neatly in my seven ring check binder. Since I bypass the banks and go straight to the Internet when I purchase my checks and deposit slips, I usually purchase the Three-On-A-Page duplicate deposit slips that have a seven-hole drilled format. I place about 10 or 20 duplicate deposit slips behind my <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks for convenience.

My recommendation to you if you want to save some money is to pick an online printer source that will provide you with business cards letterheads along with your banking stationary. That way you can schedule your orders in a way that qualifies you for the best discounts and even free shipping. I usually get my check refills along with envelopes and mailing labels to round off the order. My vendor rewards me with a nice discount on my purchase and free shipping when I qualify.

Whether you are forgetful or disorganized or perhaps you’re just like having that convenience of the extra copy, I wholeheartedly recommend duplicate deposit slips. If this is your first time working with an online vendor for business checks, simply enter “duplicate deposit slips” into your search engine and review the listings.

I’ve always had organizational issues keeping track of checkbook transactions when things get busy. For years I would drive my accountant crazy because it took me four ever to retrace my steps or find the various pieces of papers on which I hastily wrote my transaction notes. When I got my first business checkbook folder that came with an additional book called the register.

My new accountant sat me down and demonstrated to me the proper procedure for filling out my transaction records. He explained that business check registers allow me to keep track of my checking account balance. Rather than backtracking to figure out where the money was spent, the simple layout allowed me to jot down the essentials quickly and easily.

I use the Three-On-A-Page format for my <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks and my registers allow them for a total of 480 entries. It is easy to use and guides me through the process of finding my accurate account balance quickly.

There are registers out there that are essentially spreadsheets. You fire up the computer in order to input the information and the tally is automatically as you go. If you find it more comforting to have it in black and white, this method requires no electricity. You can always order extra registers when you get your <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks as well.

Even in this era of digital communications, there are still a lot of people who prefer to enter their information by hand. The act of record-keeping somehow keeps them sane and in control of their situation. Business check registers offer a solid method of keeping track of checks written, bank balances and detail expenses. I’ve met quite a few individuals who then place their registers in attractive leather binders for storage on shelves. They can track all their expenditures back 10 years without ever turning on a computer.

So although the trend is moving toward computer programs like QuickBooks and MYOB, hundreds of thousands of businesses still provide solid records of information regarding their financial transactions on paper. Of course, even with the billions of dollars of transactions each year that occur in small and midsized businesses, the simple check remains a dominant force for financial transactions.

Men and women still write checks and send them off in the mail. Many businesses still prefer to keep manual records of their cash flow and expenses. They use simple business check registers to get the job done. There are others who do both; information is routinely entered into the check register throughout the week and everything is handed off to the bookkeeper. The computerized records are available if needed but the business owners have the material on hand for personal review.

There is nothing wrong with using either one or both methods in business. It is simply a matter of preference on their part. To purchase business check registers, go to your online printing vendor and scroll through to the business checks category. You will be able to find it there.

If you are the type of person with a creative personality or your business has a very distinctive style, why would you settle for boring checks? Why not go out and get yourself cool <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks online? Perhaps you’ve simply fallen into the same rut that everyone else has when it comes to your financial image.

A friend of mine is a hairstylist for the very unique salon. After doing some work for me on a photo shoot and I gave her my business check emblazoned with my logo and graphics. She thought it was beautiful and asked me how she could get something like that.

Of course it was easy. You simply go online and within a few keystrokes you can find a dozen or more high quality business printing vendors who cater to cool business checks. If you are a small business or you’re about ready to start one seriously consider the type of image you want to portray and carry that through it all your printed material. Your business cards, letterhead, mailing labels and envelopes should all consistently portray your business the way you want them to.

Quite a few of these companies have low-cost setups that allow you to submit your photo and have it printed on your 3-On-A-Page business checks. You don’t have to go crazy, remember, you’re portraying your business and branding it in a very specific fashion. For instance, if you are a veterinarian, why not have dogs, cats and birds emblazoned on your checks?

You could have your designs printed on the Three-On-A-Page checks as well as the desktop checks or wallet checks. When you go online double check that the company you are looking at actually produces business checks in those fantastic designs that you’re looking at. Very often you’ll have a website that has a million designs specifically geared toward personal check consumers as opposed to business owners.

I wholeheartedly recommend distinguishing yourself by your image but don’t cut corners by settling for a personal checkbook or personal checking account. Your business should be run as a separate entity with a business identity. If you need the smaller format because the Three-On-A-Page checks are a little too much for you, go with the desktop checks or wallet checks. You should still be able to get them in the designs you prefer.

Don’t forget to match your design on the envelopes, letterhead and business cards. If you don’t see what you want but you found a company that you like, give them a call. When it comes to having cool business checks you should definitely take the time and effort to build your unique identity.

Unfortunately most of the really interesting designs and graphics are relegated to the personal checks websites. You can still get quite a few designs but I personally think it’s to your advantage to design your own cool business checks and have them custom made. It’s like your company business cards with the unique logo and graphics.

Several years into my small business ownership I decided it is time to organize my finances. Before then I was basically working out of my personal checking account and winging it when it came to proper record keeping. As business started growing I had to make some decisions about how I was going to run the company. The accountant I was working with clearly felt beleaguered by the number of missing check stubs, receipts and incomplete transaction records. He recommended that I move on to <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks in the proper business checks binder.

He showed me his set up and I was impressed. The binder was meant to keep manual business checks in order and have about 500 pages. The style of checks he used was a Three-On-A-Page style that actually looked professional. I immediately called my bank and made arrangements to set up the account. What I didn’t know at the time and how much my bank was going to gouge me for the service.

Every year since then I made sure that I have my own official looking business checks binder. These seven ring binders are used exclusively with business-size checks not the personal check style. You’ll usually find them organizing the three on one page checks. That format allows for easy viewing, easy record-keeping as well as efficient storage. They’re good for general disbursement checks, payroll checks or multipurpose voucher checks.

One of the things I realized when I matured into my business was that everything I did was connected to how the business was perceived. How I presented myself and the tools that I used was a reflection of my business. When I began to treat my administrative duties with that same level of commitment I realized that getting and staying organized financially was just as, or almost as important as my sales.

My personal preference is for The-Three-On-One page checks. I can open my binder begin making payment entries and log in a record of each with no problem. As mentioned above you can get different styles for different purposes. Some manufacturers even make checks for left-handed customers.

There are many different options available now. The seven ring business checks binder is a very popular format for small businesses and is frequently recommended by accountants. I still haven’t found one in an office supply store. They are invaluable to keep my business checks and deposit slips organized. It is a deterrent to coffee stains and juice spills around here.

You’ll recognize them by the D rings that makes it easy to flip through the pages. When you’re running out of checks you might be tempted to remove the stubs and reuse the binder for a fresh set. I found it much more convenient to simply order my business Kit from the vendor complete with a new binder. I then label the old binder with the checks series and store it for record keeping purposes. It’s a simple and efficient way of tracking and cross referencing.

I’ve been self-employed for decades but it was only a few years ago that I stopped giving my accountant migraines. I would routinely write out a check and make a note on a slip of paper at the spur of the moment to record the transaction and promptly forget it by the time I got back to the office to post the payment. Even when I had all my receipts, if I didn’t have the company check binder with me I would write my notes elsewhere. Finally a few years ago online companies began offering <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/m-pr.cfm?merchantID=22559&userID=156774&productID=467807550" title="duplicate business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">duplicate business checks.

You can get your <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks produced in pads that have alternating sheets of carbonless paper as well as a lighter identically numbered plain paper underneath. This is a great idea for people like me who always seem to forget to write the ledger notes for the transaction. It is an automatic record of each transaction on the carbonless check paper that transfers to the plain paper underneath. Now, there is a permanent record in the book.

When you go online to find a business check printing company, there are a few qualifications to consider. They should be able to offer a variety of styles from Three-On-A-Page checks, desktop checks, regular deposit slips, Three-On-A-Page deposit slips as well as laser deposit slips. You should have the option to get wallets, computer checks and manual <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks as well.

When I started looking for an online check printing vendor, there were some options I never thought of that were available to me. Business check kits are Three-On-A-Page format that usually come with 300 or 600 <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/m-pr.cfm?merchantID=22559&userID=156774&productID=467807550" title="duplicate business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">duplicate business checks. You’ll be given seven ring business check binder along with 200 to part carbonless deposit slips. Many companies also offer a pre-inked endorsement stamp along with a checkbook pocket organizer. There are several variations on this theme; there is usually the general disbursement check, the multipurpose/voucher check, the payroll check as well as the general disbursement with invoice boxes.

They usually have very good deals for the money; the company will ship everything out to your mailing address; usually within three business days of your order. You should also check to see if they have a logo special which allows you to have your business graphics printed on your checkbook. This is an excellent way to start your new business on the right foot.

There is no difference in paper stock between regular and duplicate business checks. When working with a reputable vendor, you’ll be able to get all the details of your order including paperweight and quality. As for security, they will usually post their security measures on the website. You’ll find that there are special indicators on each check to tell you what the various methods for combating check fraud are. Micro-printing is a technique recommended by the Financial Stationers Association and is adopted by many business check printing vendors. These security measures are designed by the FSA to effectively deter check counterfeiters.

If you’ve been in business for a few years, you’re probably well aware that banks provide check printing services at a premium. They don’t print the checks nor do they design them; they are affiliate marketers for large companies that produce, print and ship <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks to millions of companies. These business check printers have made a good living through the banks but the banks have made an even better living off you.

Since the banks don’t actually make <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks, they will add an extra 50% to 75% markup to cover their administrative fees. If you were to go online to look for business check printers, you’ll find that their prices are way off from what you pay at the bank. There is no difference in the quality of the checks themselves; they’re still produced by the very same presses using the same security measures.

If you contact your bank and ask them why they’re charging you three times more than the printer on the Internet, they’ll mumble something about extra security features and fraud protection plans. Unfortunately, the bank customer service rep is simply reading from a script they were given. Don’t blame them for not knowing the difference.

What they are actually selling you is a logical justification for the 75% markup. There is nothing wrong with saving money, getting quality service, a professional product and getting your goods quickly. Now you still need to pay close attention when you go online to order checks from those business check printers; they are not all created equal. You will still need to review the websites and look for the appropriate verification seals such as Better Business Bureau, VeriSign and others. You’ll find that the majority of companies will offer 100% money back guarantee if you’re not satisfied.

If you have accounting software available that is setup for printing your own checks, this is definitely one way to manage the situation. Look for companies online that match your software when formatting <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/m-pr.cfm?merchantID=22559&userID=156774&productID=467809160" title="Laser checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Laser checks. Your laser printer will need to have special MICR ink in order to do the job. There are inkjet printers that accomplish this as well. This special ink is important because your bank will have trouble processing your checks without it.

Business check printers will sell you the appropriate paper to use in your printer. You can’t simply slide a sheet of white paper into a LaserJet and create a qualified check. There’s no law against it but your bank will be calling you. Many of the papers supplied by business check printers have a few safeguards built in to help prevent fraud and check tampering.

Getting your checks printed from an online vendor is not a major cause for concern as long as you pay attention to the website and choose a reputable company. If they’re selling large quantities of business checks for a dollar and don’t seem to have very much in the way of style or options you may want to go somewhere else.

When I first started my business, I was stuck on the blue pinstripe <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks. Although I had spent a lot of time energy and money establishing a look for my company, the only options I had in terms of checkbook styles were flowers, nature scenes and the tried and true blue grey pattern. Years later, I discovered that printing companies allowed you to create custom business logo checks. They cost an arm and a leg back then.

Now I can get my business logo checks for less than what the banks charged me for basic blue grey pinstripe. If you go online and open up your favorite search engine, you can find those companies that offer logos by searching for “business logo checks”. You would be surprised at how many large business support printers offer this free of charge. Just be sure to have your logo in a format that is acceptable to the printing company and upload when you’re ready to place your order.

If you’re a new business, you’ll find that quite a few of the companies offer logo design as part of their service. If you’re currently using a company and never really considered business logo checks, I would recommend looking a little closer at their website to see if they promote it as one of their options.

Your logo is important because it represents your business. It is a short cut for your promotional material. Branding is a significant part of marketing because it shapes the views of the general public and especially your target market. When your checks are delivered to a vendor or organization, it represents your identity. This is definitely not something you’ll want to short change. Your checks like your business cards are a proxy that takes your place when you’re not there to represent yourself.

This option is usually available on a variety of business check styles because different businesses have different needs. Look for this as a free option on the business check websites and look for their specials. There’ll also be available on desktop checks, and a Three-On-One check sheets. Look at little further to see if they offer the option to place your logo on desktop covers, double window business check envelopes, seven ring check binders or pre-inked stamps.

If you have your image consistently appear on all your stationary and business material shows a level of professionalism. Even more important is the fact that your competition may have already established this as part of their marketing program. If you’re using an accounting software and wish to produce <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/m-pr.cfm?merchantID=22559&userID=156774&productID=467809160" title="Laser checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Laser checks, look to see if they can place your logo within that format.

You may be saying to yourself, what’s the big deal about having your logo on everything? It’s all about customer perception. Just because you’re sending money to someone doesn’t mean that they’re not in the market for what you sell. Every piece of paper that goes out with your image on it is a salesperson.

If you’re still looking at your statement and wondering why your bank is charging you so much to print checks, maybe it’s time to look elsewhere. I found out a few years ago that the majority of web-based business check companies constantly run specials and new customer discounts. You can get inexpensive <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks that follow all the federal and ABA standards. You’d be amazed at the quality of the paper and ink; you’re getting high quality 24# recycled paper at an amazing price.

Even more important than the price in my opinion is the dizzying array of styles and designs that will help your company stand out. As an advertising major in school, I learned early on that image matters even in the small details. Unlike your bank, you can get logos printed on your checks for free or next to nothing. Now the Internet offers the small business person an opportunity to save some money while gaining visibility in the process.

If you’re looking to pay more money to your bank because you’re nervous about buying checks online, take it from me; the process is still the same. Your bank is probably ordering from the same company you’ll be. Just take a few minutes when you’re searching for a check printing site to review their credentials and click on their verification links. Whether it’s the Better Business Bureau or some other agency displayed on their website, you should be able to click on it and be taken directly to the web page. <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=183224&u=156774&m=22559&urllink=&afftrack=" title="business checks"" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">business checks are not printed on just any old sheet of paper. Security printing processes are used for instance, special inks and micro printing. The paper has security features that make it difficult for forgers to succeed.

Inexpensive business checks don’t necessarily mean cheap. The amount of work that goes into making these requires skill and high tech machinery. The result is consistently appealing but even then, many companies offer money-back guarantees to ensure your confidence. When looking for an online check printer, be sure to take note of any customer service numbers posted on the website. You’ll want to be prepared if something goes wrong; for example the shipment doesn’t arrive.

When the time comes for you to upgrade to printing your own checks, companies will usually have those options available as well. You’ll be able to get business checks in formats such as Three-On-A-Page, wallets and even laser printed blanks for your accounting software. These all qualify as inexpensive business checks when the price is right.

This method of ordering business supplies can really maximize your time while minimizing your cost. In many cases you can shop smart and get your entire order delivered without paying any shipping. Go ahead and start searching now while you still have some checks in your ledger. Many of these Internet-based companies are actually large manufacturing concerns that have been producing financial paper for over 50 years. They’ve simply adjusted to the times and found an incredibly lucrative niche.
